Meet Adam Brown, MD, MS (he/him), class of 2026.
Q: Hometown?
A: Pearland, Texas
Q: What’s your educational background prior to residency?
A: I completed my bachelor’s degree in emergency health science at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I obtained my MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed my master’s degree in medical physiology at Case Western Reserve University.
Q: Why did you choose the University of Wisconsin emergency medicine residency program?
A: I left my interview day feeling like the leadership at UW is constantly looking for meaningfully ways to improve the program and that they are truly invested in their residents’ success, both as physicians and as humans outside of work. As someone interested in a career in prehospital and flight medicine, UW’s strong EMS and Med Flight programs and the 3+1 program for fellowships were big draws for me as well.
Q: What are some of your medical interests?
A: Med Flight and EMS
Q: What job would you do if you weren’t a physician?
A: Flipping houses but realistic, not HGTV-style.
Q: What activities keep you busy and grounded outside of work?
A: BBQ, DIY projects, spending time with my family
